Ginger

Ginger came into the rescue as a very pregnant expecting mother. She had her puppies and adjusted well to life in a home. She wants nothing more than to be loved, pet, and cuddled. She absolutely loves people and will say hello and wiggle for anyone who will pet her. She has the characteristic pitbull quality of being extremely loyal to her human companions and she is very trusting. Ginger gets along great with other dogs and loves to play, but she also reads signals well and knows when a dog wants to be left alone.

Simon

Simon loves to play with other dogs, doesn't mind kitties, and gets along with everyone he meets including kids. We think that his previous owner just left him in the backyard by himself, because he's still getting used to being indoors, but he's doing great and has already gotten a great start on his housetraining. Given his past, he could use some basic training but other than that he's a super dog

Star

Star is a petite gal who we don't believe received good canine socialization as a pup. She came into our rescue complete with a little of 8 and is now ready for some time to herself. We would like to see Star go into a foster home without other dogs so that her foster parents can take some one on one time showing her the ropes.

Tasha

Meet Tasha! This sweet girl came to PBRSD from a local shelter where she was having a tough time dealing with the stress of living in a kennel. A bit shy by nature, the sights and sounds were just too much for her. Tasha is shy when she meets other dogs, but once she gets to know them and realizes that they're friendly, it's playtime!

Beatrice

Beatrice is brand new to our program. She was pulled in the last hour to save her life and is now in a temporary situation. We don't want to put her in boarding so are hoping some kind soul will step up for her. We tested her at the shelter and it seems she would be good with all dogs and maybe even kitties.
