Sunny, a.k.a "Sunny Bunny" Sunny is the sweetest little dog you could ever come across. She had been red-listed at the pound after having been there for nearly four months and had no takers because she had a whole bunch of things "wrong" with her, including the unfair and untrue prejudices that come with being a brindle-colored Staffordshire Pit. But don't let her looks or breed fool you -- she's absolutely the kindest, sweetest little dog you could hope to find, and there was nothing wrong with her that couldn't be quickly and easily fixed with a little TLC. Sunny had a bad case of mange (now totally cleared up) that made her look like a Raggedy-Ann doll, and she also had an entropic eyelid on her left eye that gave her an irritation that made her look like Popeye (our other nickname for her). Fortunately, those are easily treatable and with a little love, some medicine and a quick nip/tuck surgery on her eye, our Sunny Bunny is a gorgeous little gal who is now ready to find her forever home! Sunny has been with us for 6 weeks and gets along famously with all three of our other dogs. She is fully housebroken and trained in most of the basic commands and is especially good with food and minding her manners. She loves to meet and play with all the other dogs at the adoption days and really loves doing dog day-care and play dates at places like Chateau Mar-Mutt and L.A. Dogworks. She is equally great with people, kids and other pets and would be good in a family home with kids or dogs or both, or in a single-pet family.
