Burley
APBTLocation: Hermosa Beach, CA
dogs-age: 1.5
how_long_owned: 1 month
reason-for-giving-dog-up: I found Burley in South Central LA, collapsed and exhausted. He had been clipped by a car and was recovering while sleeping next to the railroad tracks and a very busy intersection. He was hungry, dirty and dehydrated and had no collar, tags or micro-chip. He had old scars on his body and gum on his face from sleeping in the streets.

Burley has been vaccinated, neutered and loved while living in his foster home in Hermosa Beach. I travel frequently for work and don't have the resources or the time to continue fostering this clever, loving and sweet black brindle boy. He has been house-trained and works with a trainer - he gets three long walks a day and walks VERY WELL on the leash. He needs to be the only dog in his new home. He lives with and tolerates the two cats who are already at my house. He is VERY smart and needs both love and direction from his next owner. He is learning to ride in cars and loves every person who he has met, all genders, ages and ethnicities. His favorite time of day is when he gets to jump into bed and share the nest to sleep for the night!
